By pmenadue , May 13, in i - i I don't think this is the case considering the old T-mobile Dash has had WM 6. The Blackjack is a decent phone with decent hardware, but there is very little online community for customizing and cooking new roms for this phone. Not so with Samsung. If only we could find someone interested in porting the WM 6. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this. I've been running it since release, and it's a dream!

One of the most common questions we are asked on this blog is "When will this be available for my phone? Google Mobile App gives you faster searching on your Windows Mobile device, with easy access to your favorite Google applications from the Today screen. There's no need to wait for a browser to open to begin a search, and with search history available to reduce typing, you can get your search results with fewer clicks than before.
For an even speedier experience, Pocket PC users can add the Google Mobile App to the start menu Settings: Menus or configure a hardware key Settings: Buttons to provide easy access from within any application on your phone. How much faster is it? It is also available for iPhone, iPod touch and BlackBerry devices. The Kosher Cruiser said February 18, at AM. Forrest Neil Goodson said Unknown said Same with me, Forrest. February 18, at PM. Just click "search" and install the new version. Google should have been more clear that this was just an upgrade to the previous search. Does it only work with Internet Explorer. I hate IE for mobile and use Opera Mobile. It would be nice if Google Mobile didn't default to mobile IE. Gadgeteer said For some reason this doesn't seem to work with the "Sliding Panels" screen from WM 6. The Windows Default works on my phone. Wasn't this functionality available for Nokia S60 phones in the past?
It seems it was at some point but now I can't find it and install it anymore. Does anyone know if that version was axed and why? I thought this would add a neat 'iphone' like gmail app to the ever expanding windows mobile market. All this amazing app does is open up internet explorer with all of the apps.
Two options: Install this app, or don't and just use "bookmarks". All of the icons are nothing but links to the mobile sites. I don't need a today plugin hogging up any resources at all just displaying shortcuts to websites and a search box that, guess what, just opens the web browser and also goes to the mobile site.
Most experienced blackjack buffs are aware that the fewer the decks from which cards are drawn, the better the game in theory for players. That is, six decks are preferable to eight, four to six, and so on. All else being equal, of course. Not many solid citizens know why this is the case. In fact, it's commonly believed that the difference involves either the ease or beneficial effect of counting cards in smaller shoes. So they think no advantage accrues to folks who merely follow Basic Strategy or worse don't.
Reducing the number of decks does improve the prospects for card counters. However, it also lowers the house advantage for other players. The reasons involve the way probabilities of drawing various cards are affected by the size of the residual shoe. Suppose the dealer gives you a 10 on the first pass around the table. Ignoring other cards exposed on that pass or in previous rounds, what's the chance this'll happen? And, assuming it does, how apt are you to be blessed with an ace on the second pass?
The chance of an initial 10 is therefore 96 out of or The chance of an initial 10 is therefore out of , which is Having started with a 10, your chance of finishing with a blackjack is accordingly slightly better in a six- than an eight-deck game, 7. Including the inverse ace first and 10 next and combining the chances associated with both cards, the probability of a blackjack works out to 4.
More frequent blackjacks favor players. Dealers have the same chance of these hands as bettors. But dealers only take one unit when their blackjacks win, while bettors normally get 1. This 50 percent bonus trims what's otherwise the edge in the game. Accounting for the chance of a push simultaneous player and dealer blackjacks this factor alone cuts edge by 0.
All of which explains, incidentally, why a one-deck game with a 6-to-5 blackjack payoff a paltry 20 percent bonus is a bum deal. Similar arithmetic shows doubles to be stronger in six- than eight-deck games. Calculations are more complicated because every situation must be evaluated for every imaginable draw and for all the ways the dealer's hand could be resolved. A few examples suggest the magnitude of the effect.
